Es el coraz\u00f3n de los Fiordos del Oeste del sur y est\u00e1 perfectamente ubicado para visitar algunas de las atracciones m\u00e1s espectaculares de la regi\u00f3n.<br \/><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Construido en una laguna costera, el pueblo fue uno de los puertos pesqueros m\u00e1s importantes de la regi\u00f3n en el siglo XVI y tambi\u00e9n un pionero en la pesca de arrastre a principios del siglo XX. Tiene 650 habitantes\t.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px; color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;\">Durante su escala en Patreksfjordur no le faltar\u00e1 donde elegir.<br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px; color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif;\">Los espectaculares acantilados para aves de Latrabjarg son uno de los mejores lugares para observar aves marinas. Raudasandur es una playa \u00fanica de arena roja y hogar de una colonia de focas. La cascada Dynjandi, de 7 niveles, es sin duda una de las m\u00e1s bonitas de Islandia. Si a esto le a\u00f1adimos naufragios, piscinas termales r\u00fasticas, rutas de senderismo y fiordos llenos de monstruos marinos (o eso nos han dicho en el Museo de Monstruos Marinos de la cercana Bildudalur), las sorpresas no faltan en el sur de los fiordos
