Le trajet jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Holmavik vous emm\u00e8ne au travers de la baie d\u2019Hunafloi, qui porte son nom d\u2019apr\u00e8s les ours polaires qui y d\u00e9rivent parfois depuis le Groenland.
La baie s\u00e9pare la p\u00e9ninsule de Skagi, au nord ouest de l\u2019Islande, de Strandir, dans les fjords de l\u2019ouest.
Tout au long de la c\u00f4te se trouvent de petits villages de p\u00eache, et les eaux regorgent de phoques et de baleines.<\/p>

Holmavik est le plus grand village de Strandir, une r\u00e9gion connue pour son histoire avec la sorcellerie et la beaut\u00e9 de sa nature pr\u00e9serv\u00e9e.
Peu de voyageurs se lancent \u00e0 la d\u00e9couverte de la c\u00f4te le long de Strandir pour visiter les plages et les villages abandonn\u00e9s, o\u00f9 vivent d\u00e9sormais moins de 50 personnes.<\/p>
