Si trova nel cuore dei Fiordi Occidentali meridionali: una posizione perfetta per visitare alcune delle pi\u00f9 spettacolari attrazioni naturali della regione.<br \/><span style=\"color: var( --e-global-color-text ); font-family: var( --e-global-typography-text-font-family ), Sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">Costruito su una laguna costiera, il paese \u00e8 stato uno dei porti di pesca pi\u00f9 importanti della regione nel 16\u00b0 secolo e pioniere della pesca a strascico all'inizio del 20\u00b0 secolo. Raudasandur \u00e8 una spiaggia di sabbia rossa unica nel suo genere e ospita una colonia di foche. La cascata Dynjandi, a 7 livelli, \u00e8 sicuramente una delle pi\u00f9 belle d'Islanda. Se a ci\u00f2 si aggiungono relitti di navi, piscine calde rustiche, sentieri escursionistici e fiordi pieni di mostri marini (o cos\u00ec ci \u00e8 stato detto dal Museo dei Mostri Marini nella vicina Bildudalur), i Westfjords meridionali non mancano di
