Arctic Fox photo tour (8 days)
The Arctic Fox Photo Tour will take you on an 8-day photography journey in the hear of the Hornstrandir nature reserve.
The remote peninsula of Hornstrandir is a paradise for Icelandic wildlife, and above all for the Arctic fox, which enjoys strict protection from hunting and human exploitation here. In summer, the cliffs are home to millions of seabirds, providing excellent hunting grounds for the foxes and spectacular views for nature and wildlife enthusiasts.
This Arctic Fox Photo Tour is equal parts guided tour and photo workshop. You will be accompanied by two passionate professional photographers, Urip Dunker (landscape) and Samy Berkani (wildlife). In one of the most magical environments in the Westfjords, you will learn and practise every technical and artistic aspect of photography: camera settings, choice of subjects, framing, light management, wildlife approach techniques, stabilisation and more.
All levels are welcome. Whether you are a beginner, an intermediate or an advanced photographer, our experienced guides adapt each workshop so that you get the most out of it.
Throughout the journey, we form small working groups based on each participant’s goals and expectations, and we build a programme together so that everyone benefits. Above all, we let the adventure guide us. We will share our best secret: the key to wildlife and landscape photography is to let nature surprise you!
Finally, once you are back home, we offer you a free post-production course to learn how to process your photos in Lightroom.
