Arnarfjordur whale watching

isafjordur shore excursions

Our Whale Watching tour is a 2-hour trip taking place in Arnafjörður, a scenic location in the Westfjords. It takes only 15-20 minutes to sail from the Bíldudalur harbour to the whale watching area. Our location is known as the ”Westfjord Alps” so you will be able to enjoy beautiful natural landscapes throughout the tour. Our boat Beffa is a comfortable family cruising boat which takes up to 7 passengers, allowing for a comfortable and intimate experience. Relax and enjoy the ocean air on deck or sit inside and enjoy a discussion with our experienced local captain en route.

On our journey back to shore we offer a chance to discover the rich fishing grounds of the fjord and there you can try your luck for catching cod, haddock or other species if time and weather allow. You are welcome to take your catch with you after the tour.

Your safety and comfort is our main priority so we only sail with experienced local captains and guides. If a tour is cancelled due to bad weather, we fully refund any prepaid trips.
