We will start by driving to Engidalur valley, cross a river and drive into the mountains on an old gravel road overlooking the valley and the town of Isafjordur. There are small but beautiful waterfalls to be seen along the way.
We will then make our way up the old Breidadalsheidi Heath road to get to a good vantage-point for a spectacular view over the town of Isafjordur and nearby mountains.

• Warm clothing suitable for Icelandic weather
