A fantastic ATV excursion through the beautiful and diverse landscapes of Dyrafjordur. The journey begins in the town of Thingeyri from where we make our way up Brekkuhals and into the slopes of the mountain Sandafell. Sandafell offers the best views over Thingeyri and Dyrafjordur.
We descend through the forest trail behind Sandafell and cross the picturesque Sanda river before making our way back over the hills to the town. This 2-hour tour offers a taste of the stunning scenery and thrilling off-road experience Dyrafjordur has to offer.

The maximum weight allowed on each quad bike is 180 kg. If the combined total weight of the driver and passenger is greater than 180 kg. then it is necessary to book two ATVs.
Preparation for the Tour
• Drivers need a valid driver’s license in a Roman script
• Comfortable and warm clothing suitable for the Icelandic weather
